Role/Responsibilities/ Deliverables:

CHILDLINE is a 24 hour free phone emergency outreach service for children in need of care and protection. It is the largest helpline in terms of number of calls in the world. And is the largest network of NGO's in India . CHILDLINE India Foundation is the anchoring body of the CHILDLINE service in the 81 cities across the country. Webmaster is responsible for:

• All areas of the website. Must make sure the website is always available and running smoothly.
• Developing and uploading new sections to the website, design changes as per the changes that take place within CIF/CHILDLINE. All new events or news has to be uploaded onto the website. Constant updates should be made in changing statistics and information.
• Developing new ways to use our website to increase awareness and resource mobilization. Such as live events, workshops, micro sites, etc.
• Developing new creative ideas and means of using the online medium for awareness and advocacy. Find innovative and effective associations for online marketing campaigns.
• He/She must work with Media buying and advertising agencies to find innovative rates and ideas on advertising such as online banners, search campaigns, e-mailers, online product sale tie-ups, etc
• He/She will need to contact various online forums to find new fruitful cause related marketing associations.
• Updating and creating motivational forums on social networks and Blogs such as myspace, facebook, you tube, digg.com, etc.
• Give resource mobilization. Responsible for monthly feedbacks to give donors.
• Maintain CHILDLINE online database and manage all data collected on a regular basis.
• Managing CHILDLINE donor database and online payment gateway.

He / She should have bachelors or diploma in IT, mass communications, advertising, or similar fields with at least 2-3 years of experience.
