Kozhikode CHILDLINE Dosti 2011 Events

M.K. Muneer, Minister for Social Welfare inaugurated the Childline Se Dosti campaign, District level at his residence on November 8, 2011. Children from the  free birds  tied Suraksha bandan to Dr. M.K.  Muneer , Minister for Social Welfare and  d Panchayat , Kerala State at Calicut .

An awareness campaign on child protection and development was launched by Sparjan Kumar, the Commissioner of Police, Calicut. Mr. Sparjan Kumar. IPS, City Police Commissioner, Calicut flagged off awareness van in Calicut visited schools and other public locations in the city to sensitise the public on child rights and child labour.

CHILDLINE Calicut with support from Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted a train outreach at Calicut Railway Station. CHILDLINE team at the station explained the general public about CHILDLINE service and created awareness.  Mr.Sudhakaran Erambalam, SI, RPF inaugurated the outreach programme.

Against Child abuse was the only art campaign held during the Dosti week took place in Calicut. It was inaugurated by Artist Antony Francis Kodankandath at Malabar Christian College, Calicut. It aims to create awareness against harassment and abuse of children.
