Are you ready with your running shoes?

For CHILDLINE welcomes you once again to one of the most awaited sports events of the year- the  Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon on 16th January 2011 .

The Mumbai Marathon is one of the most sought after events, bringing together people from different walks of life, doing their bit and help raising funds for a better tomorrow. Be it you, me, or a group of individuals from your corporate, we all 'run' either for the love of the sport, to push our own limits, to test our fitness, to win prizes or for the mere pleasure of making a difference to someone less fortunate than ourselves.

We at  Childline India Foundation ( www.childlineindia.org.in ) urge you to do all of the above, while running in the spirit of our cause - your support will mean we can provide quality assistance to the children at the most vulnerable times.  

WHY Us?

CHILDLINE 1098 is a national, 24 hour, free phone outreach service that reaches out to the children in emergency.

At the current level the expanse of the CHILDLINE child protection net is present in 83 cities all over India and has responded to more than 18 million calls.

Under the  ICPS (Integrated Child Protection Scheme), CHILDLINE 1098 has received recognition as an integral component of the country's child protection framework.  This year we propose to open in 80 more cities/ towns.

We request and hope to have your support in achieving this enormous task at hand by participating in the Mumbai Marathon in support of Childline.

The registration for Mumbai Marathon 2010, have commenced and like every year due to the overwhelming response and over subscription, we request you to register at the earliest. The registration process commences on the July 22, 2010 and closes on September 30, 2010.

Since the allotment is on a first come first serve basis, we urge you to for a confirmation as soon as possible!!!

STEP # 2.   While filling the registration form - In the charity option - choose 'CHILDLINE India Foundation'

STEP # 3.   Mail us the confirmation of your registration at shikha@childlineindia.org.in or nipa@childlineindia.org.in and be a Childline Dost. Run in a Childline T shirt. Be part of the action with the Childline bachas on Race Day.
