CHILDLINE Documentary by Sofia students

The students of the Social Communications Media Department at Sophia College Polytechnic Mumbai as a part of their curriculum, every year, create a short documentary of approximately 15 - 20 minutes duration, on issues of social concern.

For the year 2007-08, one of the groups made a documentary for CHILDLINE India Foundation . The documentary " Dus nau Aath Kar Lo Baat " was made regarding Conducting Effective Outreach especially for our new volunteers and centres.

The 20-minute film not only helps us in our internal communication efforts towards outreach programs but is also a great media for addressing external audience.

The film strikes a chord and brings out the essence of CHILDLINE in a forthright and simple manner. We are very happy that CNBC IBN adjudged the documentary the best film, amongst the 4 films made this year!!

Dus Nau Aath - Kar Lo Baat has been a great learning experience for the Sophia students; they have achieved to bring out the simple sadak chhap essence of CHILDLINE, the innocence of the displaced children and the commitment of the workers.
