Clowning across the world has evolved into a very highly refined structured art form which requires physical skills, dramatic ability, a firm understanding of human nature, imagination, wit and a strong sense of comic.

CHILDLINE has recently partnered with the 'International Clowns' in order to give our children laughter and fun while spreading happiness.

Activities and workshops undertaken by the 'International Clowns' will entail comedy, juggling, magic, mime and face painting. Not only will the clowns perform for the children but also teach them circus skills- how to walk on a tightrope, aerial work and how to work the rings. It will teach them discipline, co-operation, teamwork and how to set goals and achieve them. Over time, some of these children would be able to actually use these internal skills to change their lives. ©

They will be performing for underprivileged children on the following dates:

• 22nd / 23rd September - Delhi
• 28th - 29th September - Mumbai
• 5th - 6th October - Bangalore
