Mega awareness rally against Child abour
Joining hands with the Department of Labour, Assam, CHILDLINE Guwahati participated in a mega awareness rally against Child Labour in Guwahati.

Thousands of children from various schools across the city along with Tarun Gogoi, Chief minister, Assam, Mr. Prithibi Majhi, Minister, Labour and employment, Mr. Robin Bordoloi, MLA, Gauhati East, and CHILDLINE Guwahati team participated in the rally to senstize the general public on evils of Child Labour . |

Tarun Gogoi, Chief minister, Assam flagged off the rally. Speaking on the occasion , Gogoi said that "Every child is entitled to right to education and right to life. But it is sad to see that mostly educated people employ children in their houses. Child labour is a crime and we need to join hands against this social evil. |
