• Placement of a Hearing and Speech Impaired Child in a Shelter
This intervention involves a nine-year old boy who has a hearing and speech impairment and was found wandering about the streets in Ujjain by a lady who called CHILDLINE. The CHILDLINE team collected the child and took him to the Centre. The team found out that the boy had lost his parents and so he was later placed in a children's home. All this while, efforts were being made to find the rest of the boy's family. However after a false lead, the boy had to be finally placed in a government home. |
