Srinagar: The Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, has issued detailed guidelines to all DIGs/SSPs of to extend their support to CHILDLINE. The most important part of this guideline that Senior superintendent of police Srinagar are directed to issue orders to the in-charges of their units to have close liaison with CHILDLINE and function as nodal officers for the CHILDLINE and Police. These Police unit will be functioning as a Special Juvenile Police Unit in Srinagar district.
