Satyameva Jayate brings to its audiences social issues that go unnoticed but continue to erode progressive India. The show introduces you to realities that exist, encourages you to think and eventually compels you to ACT! Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) is one such menace prevalent in the remotest parts of India (and world over!). India is home to the world's largest number of sexually abused children; with a child below 16 years raped every 155th minute, a child below 10 every 13th hour and one in every 10 children sexually abused at any point of time.

Take the poll: Have you ever experienced any form of sexual abuse in your childhood?

These appalling figures compelled CHILDLINE to take Action!

The need of the hour was prevention and awareness about the issue amongst children and their caretakers (teachers and parents). 1n 2011 began the CSA Awareness Programme conducted by CHILDLINE India Foundation. Many a times, children remain unaware of what is happening to them, frightened to speak to anyone about the issue whilst most parents and teachers evade the subject of CSA. This only adds to the perils associated with the subject. With a pilot project in Mumbai, this programme has reached out to 50,000 children and 1900 parents/teachers.

We are in the process of reaching out to more children, parents and teachers and taking the project to different cities/states across India.

Join us in our endeavour to address the issue of CSA and volunteer for a few hours every week!
